Lesson 3 - The Shift Key

Use the shift key to capitalize letters and to use the secondary characters (the symbols on the top-left corner of some of the keys). Shift + ; is a colon (:), shift + 6 will make the caret symbol (^), and shift + 7 will make an ampersand (&). We will learn the rest of the symbols as we move through the lessons. Make sure that you are using 1 hand for the shift key and the other hand for the letter.
